There’s something deeply humbling about putting these words out into the world. They started as quiet thoughts in my head; scribbled on scraps of paper, typed out late at night when sleep wouldn’t come, or murmured in prayer when the weight of life felt too much. My hope is that they resonate with you, wherever you are, and remind you that even in the messiest parts of life, God is still writing a beautiful story.

The Ugly Inside Me
In the heart of adversity lies the seeds of transformation. This book is about more than just brokenness, it’s about understanding the layers of what “ugly” really means and how, through grace, it can be redeemed. This book weaves together my own story and the stories of others who have graciously allowed me to share their journeys of overcoming darkness. It’s part personal testimony, part encouragement, and part psychoeducation, drawing from my experiences not just as someone who has walked through the fire, but as a licensed professional counselor who’s worked with others in their struggles.
Through these pages, you’ll see that no matter how heavy shame feels, no matter how dark sin seems, and no matter how deep trauma cuts, there is light to be found. Healing isn’t just possible, it’s promised! Through the darkest nights and the fiercest storms, God has a way of showing us His light. In the places we feel most broken, He brings healing that reminds us we were never beyond His reach, and He transforms our ugliest moments into something beautiful.
Poetry & Such
This book is a collection of poems born out of deep reflection, honest struggle, and a longing to make sense of the world and my place in it. Each piece feels like a conversation; sometimes with God, sometimes with myself, and sometimes with the people who’ve left their fingerprints on my heart. These words are raw at times, tender at others, often wrapped in moody imagery but always reaching toward hope.
I’ve wrestled with themes of love and loss, faith and longing, identity and redemption. The pages carry the weight of those moments and the questions I didn’t have answers for, the prayers I couldn’t articulate, and the dreams I struggled to let go of. You’ll find echoes of my own struggles with vulnerability, my attempts to hold onto grace, and my desire for transformation. There are scars and shadows here, but also light breaking through. This is a journey, not a resolution. So if you’ve ever felt like you’re wandering, questioning, or carrying something heavier than you can bear, these poems are for you. They’re a quiet offering, an invitation to sit with the messiness of life and find beauty even in the broken places.
